The Foreign Trade Fair Program of the Federal Government
The Federal Government as represented by the German Federal Ministries for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWK) and Food and Agriculture (BMEL) will be taking part in the German Trade Fairs Abroad programme of the Federal Republic of Germany, providing German companies with an opportunity to exhibit at favourable conditions at the joint booth. The trade fairs are mainly selected according to proposals from export-oriented organisers in industry in coordination with the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA). These trade fairs are brought together into the German Trade Fair Quality Abroad (GTQ) programme published by AUMA. The German participation exhibitor lists are published in the german-pavilion.com portal.
The programme entails a joint exhibit initiated by the German Federal Government for German companies to exhibit at selected international trade fairs. One of the main benefits for participants is that the whole booth is organised from Germany. SMBs in particular benefit from the opportunity of exhibiting and networking in the international arena as part of the German Pavilion.
This is one of the ways in which the Federal Government supports SMBs while also boosting international awareness for services and products from Germany and giving trade-fair visitors from around the world the opportunity to meet their potential German trading partners at the German Pavilion.
